The ASCENT 30 S ski touring backpack was developed specifically for women and men with a short back - the "S" in the name means SHORT.
Extremely light and technical, it is perfect for particularly demanding mountain days.
For this reason, ORTOVOX has focused on the essential while taking every detail into consideration.
Thanks to the Nylon 100D Robic Ripstop the backpack is extremely light but resistant to abrasion. Despite the weight reduction we naturally gave a lot of importance to comfort: The 3D foam back protector distributes the load between the abdominal band and the lightly padded shoulder straps. Features such as the perimeter hinge that guarantees fast access to the equipment, a compartment for the map, the predisposition for the hydration system, the diagonal fixing of the skis, the ice ax support and the rope stamping make it a technical and ultralight backpack for challenging ski tours.
Furthermore in the ASCENT 32 is contained an emergency card: in case of necessity the card provides information on the injured person so that he can be treated faster and more efficiently.
